Basically, this is a series of meaningless short stories (small chapters, really) about alternate events in character's history. If you have any what if questions about your character's pasts, just send them to me and I'll get to work on them.

Chapter 1: What if Genshuku had Never Been Zapped by the Sol Emerald?

A young, fully organic Gen knocked twice on the door and waited patiently until Blaze opened the door. "Oh, Hi, Gen." "Hey, Blazer." He said cheerfully, using a nickname he had devised a while ago. "I was wondering if I could see the Sol Emeralds." "Yes, it's your 10th birthday, isn't it?" She asked. "Yep!" the bat replied happily, wings fluttering, and walked in as Blaze stood aside to allow him in. "Wow...they're so pretty..." he said, awed, when he was in the room where the Emeralds were kept. His ears twitched, and he exclaimed, "I can hear them! They sound like... old people talking, or humming. I can't make it out, though..." His ears, which had been twitching like mad, drooped, and Blaze put her hand on his shoulder. "It's ok, Gen. Few people can actually hear them; nobody has made out the words." she said, getting a smile from the little bat boy.
The years passed, and the cat and the bat continued to be friends. In school, they hung out as much as possible, sitting together in the classes they shared. When Gen was being harrassed by bullies, Blaze was there to chase them away. Naturally, Gen was always envious of Blaze's control over fire, but he did have one advantage over her; he could fly, which allowed him to find a good route through an area. Of course, Gen never served under Nega, and never became a cyborg. When he and Blaze were sucked into Sonic's world, the two had to stick closer than ever.
5.6 years later... Gen walked out of his room, wearing a bright, shimmering robe. When Blaze caught sight of that, she burst out laughing; Gen's face grew red with embarrassment. "It's not my fault, ok? It's those blasted aliens! They still think I'm some kind of space prince..." Blaze managed to stop laughing and said, "No, no, you look good." However, she was still grinning. Gen rolled his eyes and looked at the sleeve. "It itches like hell...but when I take it off, there's another one underneath it! Watch!" And he ripped off the cloak, revealing an identical one underneath it. "Wow..." Blaze started giggling again. Gen sighed, looking annoyed. "Ok, Blaze, I was hoping to be wearing something else when I asked this, but...You wanna go out? Tonight?" "Sure." Blaze said, looking taken aback for a second before smiling.
Things skyrocketed after that; they dated for a few months, and then Gen popped the question, and Blaze eagerly said yes. Sadly, Silver had been watching since the beginning, and he had been growing mad with jealousy...
The day after the wedding...
Gen was walking back from the store, bags in hand, when a figure stepped out of the shadows. "Hello, Gen..." "Huh?" Gen turned as Silver stepped into the illumination of a streetlamp. "Oh, Silver. What are you doing here?" "I'm here for my revenge." with that, he shot a blast of psychic energy at Gen, blasting him backward; food flew everywhere. "You're not good enough for Blaze, bat." Silver said, walking forward as Gen scrambled to escape. "You're just an alien freak." "I'm not an alien- Gahhhh!" Gen grabbed his head in agony and curled into a ball; Silver was piercing his mind with his own! It felt like a mental spear designed to stay in the target, even when pulled. "Yes, you are. And when you're dead, Blaze will turn to me for comfort. I won't know what happened; maybe those new powers of yours overwhelmed you..."

Chapter 2: What if Omega Hadn't Been Deactivated by Eggman?
A large, black-and-red robot took the elevator down to the depths of one of Eggman's old bases, stopping in front of a large door with Eggman's symbol on it. He walked up, entered a code into a keyboard next to it, and walked in when the door opened. Omega glanced at the vital signs of the prisoner, a similarly colored organic hedgehog. Everything appeared normal with him, so Omega went about making sure everything else was in working order. Meanwhile, outside, Rouge the bat, renowned thief, broke into the base, setting off an alarm in the containment room, and jumped down the elevator shaft, softening her landing with her wings. "This is it, I've found Eggman's secret treasure!" she said, rapidly typing in a code into the keyboard. The door opened, revealing Omega, larger than life and twice as deadly. Before she could do anything, Omega exclaimed, "Intruder detected!" and shot her.
--- "Then who was it? Who locked you up here for trying to conquer the world?" Vector questioned Eggman, Charmie and Espio behind him. "It was..." he began.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Cream, Big, and Amy ran up the dock of the airship, looking high above them. "Hmmhmmhmmm..." Metal Sonic, situated at the highest possible point, laughed. "All living things kneel before your master!" He fired a bolt of lightning into the sky, and as they watched, and Chaotix and Eggman ran up, the bridge resembling Eggman exploded. A vortex opened, and the pieces began flying together and formed Metal Madness's body; Metal Sonic transformed into the head. "Metal Sonic has finally transformed!" Eggman shouted as the Egg Pawns ran away from metallic terror. "So that's Metal Sonic!?" Sonic asked. "It's hopeless! Metal Sonic has combined your data with the power of Chaos and is super strong! We can't defeat it! Oh, if only we had the SEVEN Chaos Emeralds!" With that, the three teams took out a total of seven glowing emeralds. Eggman looked shocked. "What's this? But how? Even with the Emerald's power, our chances for victory are slim... It would take a miracle!" "Just leave that to me, doc!" Sonic said, tossing the blue Emerald in his hand. "Sonic, no!" Amy protested. "I'm going with you, too!" "Tails..." "You can count me in too." "Knuckles..." "Well byt you guys some time, so you can use your super powers!" Vector said, and the others nodded in agreement. "Ok, let's get ready to do this." Sonic said, facing each allie. "We'll show that creep the real super power of teamwork!"
Team Rose and Team Chaotix fought Metal Madness bravely, but they were too weak; a team seemed to be missing! Without the help of a somewhat darker force of good, the two teams were crushed by Metal Madness. "Vector, Charmy, help! Aaaah!" "Amy, no!" "Cream, I'm so sorry..." "Wha- Wah!!!"
After dealing with the two teams, Metal Madness transformed into Metal Overlord and flew off, leaving Team Sonic with no time to grieve as Sonic became Super Sonic and flew off after Metal Overlord, Tails and Knuckles in tow. Sadly, they weren't powerful enough to vanquish him before running out of rings. With Sonic, all his friends, and Eggman out of the way, Metal Sonic conquered the world, setting up a robotic kingdom and turning all organic life into robots. All of Eggman's old bases were destroyed, per order of Metal Sonic, and Shadow was killed along with Omega when the base he was in was blown up.

Yeah I understand... I might do Zyelin's "What if Airlia Smith was never put into a coma?" since that's the reason for "what if Strife was never imprisoned in her andriod body?"

Chapter 3: What if Xeng Hadn't Been Driven Mad in the Realm of Darkness?
2 Months Ago...
"Gen! Help me!" Xeng shouted, struggling frantically as the Heartless pulled him into the Realm of Darkness. Gen and Meizo both raced for the portal, but they were too slow, too late; with one last panicked look at the world Xeng barely knew, he vanished into the Realm of Darkness.
Present Day
"Oh, Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree." S.C.A.R sang happily, placing the star on top of the huge Christmas tree in the center of the room. below, Gen, Tempi, and other members of the house were busy putting on decorations. Suddenly, a corridor of darkness opened up, and someone stepped out. Gen turned, dropping the Heartless Emblem he was about to put on. "Who are you?" he demanded. "How can you open corridors of darkness?" "What, you don't recognize me?" the figure asked, slowly fading from a shadowy black to grey, with dark spots around his body. Gen looked at him for a few seconds and gasped. "X-Xeng?" he stuttered. The others had stopped what they were doing to watch the drama that was sure to unfold. "But...I thought you were destroyed!" "'Thought' being the operative word." Xeng growled. "You sent me to that horrid place and left me for DEAD! The only good thing is that I have the power to take my revenge on you." Gen stepped back from what was once his Nobody. "Xeng...I thought we were-" "Friends? HAH! You forget; Nobodies don't have emotions." With that, Xeng charged forward, claws extended. Gen barely dodged him, and Xeng instead slashed through the Christmas tree, much to S.C.A.R's chakrin. "Leave him alone!" she shouted, jumping on his back and slamming down on his head. Roaring angrily, he changed into a Shadow and went 2-D, running underneath the door. "Genny, are you ok?!" S.C.A.R asked, helping Gen up. "Yeah, I'm fine." he said. "But Xeng won't let this go; He's going to be back." Gen turned to the fallen Christmas tree and sighed, summoning some Heartless to set ip up again.

I probably should have typed this up as rough draft, made edits and thought some things out first before posting it, though. In fact, I shoulda done that with all the chapters.
